OEM Alternative Brake Pads : One month later - June 3, 2021, 8:50 a.m.

The Magura Gold pads are the most ridiculous pads I've ever tried. The power and bite I had was insane at the expense of modulation and durability. Not to mention their $50USD price tag.

I have since switched to Galfer Green pads and have been super happy. Supposedly the Purple (e-bike) pads are nearly as good as the greens but last a lot longer. They are on my list to try next!

Crankbrothers Stamp Shoes - May 17, 2021, 9:38 a.m.

How wide does the toe box run? I'm personally a bit wider than normal bike shoes are made for and I cannot find any reviews motioning how they fit in comparison to other brands. Hoping these might finally be able to replace my dying Tevas.

Wera Bicycle Tools - April 28, 2021, 10:34 a.m.

I believe that Abbey tools does a similar thing on their allens. At least the ones I have have similar cutouts and shape.

SR Suntour Durolux 36 Boost EQ Fork - Jan. 25, 2021, 9:31 a.m.

I'm loving my V2. Put it on a hardtail at 130mm. Once I figured out my shock pump was 15PSI off, it was a dream to ride.

2021 Kona Process X First Impressions Review - Jan. 19, 2021, 10:40 a.m.

If you like lots of modulation and a more traditional feel, Magura. If you like a more on/off feel, then Shimano. I run Magura on all my bikes and Galfer green pads, the Magura Gold pads are awesome but expensive and don't last long. Maguras are a tad harder to bleed, but once you figure it out, its pretty easy.

My Year as the BoXXer Trail Bike Guy - Jan. 12, 2021, 10:08 a.m.

Since I've never ridden a Dual Crown, what makes them quieter? Or are you just referring to creaky CSUs?

Shimano SLX Drivetrain Review - Aug. 26, 2020, 9:58 a.m.

I found the X01/XX1 chain to really make or break the eagle drivetrain. Not sure what chain you were running before, but if it was GX or worse, then my guess would be the chain made part of that impact.
