Another Sentinel V1 / CC link owner here. I had a tough time getting a good feel from the stock link and the CC link solved the biggest issue I was having: choosing between good off the top or not blowing through the travel. Now I have both! I'm about 200 with gear. Very happy with 20mm sag @ +/- 230 psi. 0.4 spacer inside. Before the CC link I was at 16mm sag and up to 270psi.  Almost forgot- DPX2 w/ custom tune based on the CC link.

I had to chuckle when I read this and looked closely at the picture. The switches, gauges and steercolumn stalks are almost identical to those in my Evolution VIII. The graphic on my ACD switch is almost the same as the Differntial lockout switch on the fuso.

Love this series, keep them coming!

There's two cars I'd consider sacrificing my Evolution VIII for: E39 M Wagon or Evolution IX Wagon. Love the intersection of mountain bikes and performance cars, please keep these articles coming.  

Beautiful car and bike Konrad, I imagine there's been a lot of hard work and long hours leading up to those rides!

I'm wondering about this:  "Even with the DoubleDown rear tire and 28psi, Jon's been flexing those sidewalls."

Is that a reference to the crisscross pattern visible on the sidewall, or just an observation from the rider?

I’m liking the high rise bar look!

A bright spot for my pandemic experience has been more time with my 4 year old. Got her an early rider 16” bike for xmas and the transition from balance bike to pedal bike took about 5 mins. That was the highlight of my year!

Like you, I don’t push her, I let her find her groove and she’s loving it (you can’t tell her anything, but that’s a story for a different website, ha!) 

Thanks for the insight you’ve provided about riding with the kid this past year. Getting her some adult elbow pads for her legs today.
