I recommend to everybody to wear thinner normal socks under waterproof socks for sub zero rides. 

Works fine for me and I am commuting until about -8° for about 45 minutes.

Interesting hub considerations:

Never could experience that because I just had 36T hubs lately. Liked the quick engaging e*13 for the uphill though. But I sold the bike with those e*13 wheels very fast again.

New DT350 is almost the old DT240 - no need to worry and my favorite hub so far. Newmen Fade is also quite okay: silent and spins without much/any love. All you need. Don’t want any other hubs because benefit froms costs is excellent for those „low tech“ 36T hubs.

I have the first gen Skibotn wool shirt - as longsleeve which is not produced anymore. Best Merino allround shirt I have. I love it and hate Norrøna for discontinuing it :-)

I tried a lot of saddle including the first generation of 611 active with the narrower nose. 

My preferred saddle right now is the Power Mimic Comp from Specialized: step like design at the end, short nose. Would have liked the elsaton version but I couldn‘t find a good offer for it.

Hooks just love my washing machine and dryer! My 2 Norrøna shorts lost them within a year.  You can forget to put the shorts into a washing bag just once…

Hmmm… I have a OneUp V2 210 and a Revive 185… and I absolutely love my Revive. It‘s just awesome. Have it since 2019 and serviced it once. Oh oh, Sacki!

- Ordered a boring standard range plus Tesla Model 3. Because we have solar power on our roof and Diesel price doubled thx to Putin. Installed a special charging station for solar power only charging. 

- have a 2021 S Works Stumpy Evo. Frameset. With lots of loved older parts like my 2019 Revive and Newmen components: SL.A30 wheels, stem, bar. 2020 Code RSC with trickstuff rotors and pads. 2021 Fox 36 Factory. Cascade Link. 2021 Storia V3. 2019 GX Group - can‘t love it but it is shifting and that‘s what it is supposed to do.  

So I guess I‘m kind of a sad Mountain biker 😂 

but honestly: I don’t care. Love my bike. Looking forward to a more sustainable mobility with my own energy.

Had the Mega V1. Was a great and versatile bike but the Nomad V4 was more fun. I‘m on a Stumpy Evo with Cascade link and Storia V3 right now. Good mix of both and excellent for long days in technical terrain here at the European Alps. Still a fan of Santa Cruz bikes though but the STEVO seems to be a perfect long legged trail bike for me - not easy to find in these days of Enduro bomber bikes. Mega seems to be a perfect bike for places like Squamish.

I am having the same combo. K Edge makes me go crazy. Never really right angled. Roam: Okay. But not being able to move the map - just zoom in and out - makes me go crazy as well. Can‘t really make on the fly plans/detours if a road is closed eg for forest works… had a Garmin 64 before: good map moving, bad connectivity, expensive maps, strange openMTB Maps. 

So I gave the Wahoo a go. Having a Levo SL for the Kids Trailer and Commuting: can display Hear Rate, Motor Mode, Battery - but I rarely use it. 

Most of the times I know the most parts of my route and try sth new with OutDoorWorks on my Apple Watch: best Open Street Maps. Better than everything. Enough for finding my way. 

For epic multi day adventures in the Alps none of my devices is perfect - especially the lacking ability of moving the map on the Wahoo is a mess.

After 2 years my Revive 185 1.0 wanted a service but it just got a bit sticky - like the OneUp V2 on my other bike from day 1 :-)

All in all 3 happy years on my Revive 1.0. If you want to spend the money don’t look further.

Would buy a 213 34.9 for my Stumpy Evo @Sacki! Bring sie zum Sascha und fertig =)
