A line help?

Another of my problems. Ive gone over the bars and been put out of riding by it so much, i think its a mental block without me knowing. Also, the steep jumps make me slow down more than the less steep ones…..for the steep ones is it the same technique?

pretty much. It sounds like you ride a lot like me (with fear, that is). Seriously, just keep hitting 'em [HTML_REMOVED] you'll get more [HTML_REMOVED] more comfortable.

this will be of particular interest to endoking and ashek….

That's it! No xmas card for you this year… :P

Seriously though, I'm really glad to see it passed and the way it's drafted does a good job of protecting the rights of religious groups to refuse to perform gay marriages. A pretty nice piece of legislation.

took me until my 3rd day this year to start to get it dialed. Patience grasshopper.

PS When things start going right, don't immediately break your wrist like I did. Just a little tip… ;)

Effective PSA

Is that from Australia? They always had the best ones.

Yeah, their drunk-driving ads are crazy, but their problem is really bad…

Thanks to the North Van Fire Department and North Shore ambulance Service

2 pics from hill today

The best part of those pictures is the outfit. XC lid and some variation of leg armour is all you ever need at Whistler. Some gloves would be nice I hate that black dust-stuff on the palms…

Tell that to the guy who broke his jaw in 3 places when his fork snapped on Monday. Full-face helmets are good. You never know what's gonna happen.

Single Thirty-something? Wanna ride?

i'd have to say under 25 but that's just my personal opinion - maybe i should keep my options open eh

Perfect… Gimme 6-8 weeks to heal [HTML_REMOVED] I'm in. Always looking for more folks to ride with.

Damn, this thread is funny. But I'm glad it was started. I've always kinda thought the same thing as NSChica (except reverse the sexes).

PS Typing with one hand sux.

Dietician, Nutritionist, or Personal Trainer?

dieticians go through a professional training program [HTML_REMOVED] internship to be accredited. Any bozo who has taken biology course can call themselves a nutritionist. Many personal trainers are quite well qualified to give advice on nutrition, etc. too. A good friend of mine is a trainer at Alan McGavin in Plaza of Nations, which is close to you if I remember right. I'm sure he'd be happy to talk to you. pm me if you want.

Travelling to Vancouver July 2-7 Need Advice

Huge generalization, but all the while, you guys should try out our "beginner" trails and see how it goes from there.

7th, Leppard, Krinkum Krankum loop, Pipeline on Fromme I'd recommend.

Definitely start with the 7th, etc. loop. Fun [HTML_REMOVED] challenging, but not deadly.
