I might be missing something but is a 2 year warranty really worth a press release? If it was 10 years or lifetime maybe, but 2 years?

Maxxis tires are not that hard to find for around C$80.

I did write "my money" ;-)

WR1/DT350 = $1597 CAD

SCB/DT350 = $1599 USD.

FlowMk3/DT350 = ~600-700 CAD?

I know where my money would go ;-)

I guess the big question is, would you buy them? For the full $2400 that is.

Lol too little time to what? This stuff still needs to be tuned occasionally except now you have to remember to plug it in.

Too little time to ride. Work a lot -> surplus of money but no time to ride -> buy more shit.

I use these two by Fox and Rockshox - basically the ones you get for free with a fork/shock. Both have markings for each 10 psi increment and I find it pretty easy to achieve "good enough" accuracy down to 5 psi increments simply by going halfway between two markings. I feel like any better accuracy (1 psi?) wouldn't really be significant anyway.

I think that's way too small a sample to draw any conclusions. In my case, only 1 out of my 3 orders from Europe this year has been taxed. Overall over the past few years, it's about 50% for me.

Ah, so Type-1ers are allowed to offset their sins with Type 2 credits! Perhaps we can set up a Type 1/2 offset market so roadies doing long indoor trainer sessions can earn Type 2 credits which they can then sell to e-bikers who need them to be allowed on our trails.

I agree with your other comment that the big appeal for ebikes is the ride from home to the mtn instead of driving, but there's also the drawback of faster wear and tear on tires. When you're looking at $150-200 for a set, doing a ton of mileage on the road that burns up your rubber becomes less appealing.

Still more appealing than burning a bunch of fossil fuel, let alone sitting in traffic!

Because they rode them in an area that is specifically non-motorized and specifically no ebikes. Because they are industry people including local and should know better especially during Crankworx. And because they tried to play dumb when questioned. Fuck em.

Would you also call out local industry people shuttling Darkside trails (on normal bikes)?
