nucks vs avs

He played six games last year. Sweet moves on his goal though.

Nice to see LOLuongo on top of his game tonight. As good as he can be, he stresses me out with the softies he lets in.

Works fine for me on Snet HD.

Lovin the little russian guy getting his first NHL goal in his first NHL game.

canucks vs islanders

Like Edmonton last week.

BTW, under NHL rules, Raymonds goal shouldn't have counted. I don't think the shooter is allowed to stop forward momentum on a penalty shot. Unless the rules are different in the shootout???

Anyone?

Top Five Christmas Trax!

Seasons Greetings to all NSMBers!

My family is heading to the Hills Guest Ranch for Christmas this year, so naturally, I'm making a road trip Christmas CD. There is lots of Christmas fluff out there. Some good. Some not so much.

List your top five.

In no particular order mine are:

Fairytale of New York - The Pogues
you scumbag you maggot, you cheap lousy fa$$[HTML_REMOVED]t, Happy Christmas…….
Classic.

My Christmas List - A Simple Plan
I wish I could take this day, and make it last forever. And no matter what I get tonight, I want more.
Cause let's face it, when we were kids, isn't that exactly what we were thinking???

Christmas in Hollis - Run DMC
Looked at his dog, oh my God! An ill raindeer!

Do they know it's Christmas - Band Aid
Well tonight thank God it's them, instead of you.
Bono steals the show really.

Felize Navidad - Jose Feliciano
Feliz Navidad. Feliz Navidad. Feliz Navidad. Feliz Navidad. Prospero Ano y Felicidad.
One word. Nostalgia.

Honorable mention: U2 - It's Christmas.(Baby please come home), Bryan Adams - Something about Christmas Time.

Why I watch the Big Break Dominican Republic on Golf Channel

I've been off work since October 5th due to finally having my ACL fixed. So there's been a lot of TV time. I stumbled across the Big Break one day and am now hooked for what I believe are obvious reasons.

Blair O'Neil. Hot golfer.

Fcuk did he look stupid on Crosby's goal. I wouldn't complain if he got injured.

And Luongo looked terrible on the short handed goal. Slllloooooooowwwwww.

Remembrance Day

Here's a song I wrote and performed in front of my high school in 1989.

I called it "Remember the Men"

Remember the men in their old age.
Playing cards all the time.
These are the men that saved our country.
When they were all in their prime.

One says "Hey how you doing?"
The other says "George how's it been?"
Even when they're old and close to death.
We'll never forget what they did.

We'll never forget what they did.

Most of them young when they were called.
But they went and risked their lives.
What would you do if it was your turn?
Would you run or would you fight?

We'll never forget what they did.

Remember the men in their old age.
Remember the men in their prime.
These are the men that saved our country.
We all owe them our lives.

Remembrance Day always gets me in a weird way. Whatever you are doing tomorrow at 11am, stop and take a moment. We owe them that.

Top 3 live shows you HAVEN'T seen?

Unless Metallica flashes back to the late 80's, don't bother. Peter Gabriel is VERY good live. Saw him in '91 I think???? Great show.

My three would be:

1) Neil Young
2) Dave Matthews
3) Leonard Cohen
