Ad Infinitum - June 5, 2023, 9:08 p.m.

i think that it probably is.

7mesh - Ankle to Neck - April 8, 2023, 7:54 a.m.

i have the feint, i like them. easy to move in as they are very stretchy but seem tough. i’ve not had them long enough to comment on durability, but so far, so good.

i actually have 2 pairs. i bought a 36 waist that was too big. i’ll be putting them on pinkbike buy/sell and the fraser valley mtb facebook buy/sell as soon as i get around to it.

Zero Darco Thirty - March 17, 2023, 8:45 a.m.

i was pondering something similar on mine, but using a 210x50 or 52.5 shock. the cost of modding the shock put me off.

The Terminator Paradox - March 10, 2023, 7:42 a.m.

i may have gotten the wrong end of the stick, but i really want that exoskeleton and downloadable skills.

edit: excellent read, many thanks to all involved

she might if she was paid to…

“Dude, if we went and built the bike that most people need, nobody would buy it.”

this is interesting. i’d be very interested in an article where a secret industry insider spilled the beans on what the bike most people need.

i’d also be interested in  what terrain it would be suited to and where this terrain is. i’m guessing that most mountain bike buyers don’t scour the internet for the latest trends or live the mountains.

it could be the anti-grim doughnut.

Stuff we saw at Crankworx - Aug. 12, 2022, 6:38 p.m.

cat’s arse in british is the exact opposite of the dogs bollocks.

that chromag is the dogs bollocks.

Makers: Chromag - May 19, 2022, 7:12 a.m.

the minor threat is is far from a walmart bike. it is as high quality as a you’d expect from any other bike chromag would put on the market.

it is as light and well spec’d as you’d expect for the price.

my really-not-very-big wife is waiting for one to come into stock at our local chromag shop to give it a try. it will be the only bike that has fitted her since the original titus stopped making xxs frames.

A Death Foretold - March 8, 2022, 5:38 p.m.

i have no experience with plus tyres, but i have to disagree with your comments on inserts. they aren’t heavy, especially tannus’ products and they offer more than the ability to run low pressures. protection and support being two additional advantages.

i would very much like a 29+ trail bike, though.

We're Being Slowly Boiled Into Super Boost - Jan. 10, 2022, 4:46 p.m.

I detest trek and will never buy one of their products. I’m sure they don’t care.

Wide range 10 speed seems like the obvious solution to me. hopefully it will still be around when I need to replace my 11 speed derailleur.

The Worst Purchase - Oct. 7, 2021, 6:44 p.m.

hecklers  are the second and 3rd favourite bikes i’ve owned. i had my ‘05 for many years.

bad purchase, maverick duc 32. amazing (especially for stoppies) until the kicked me out the front door. replaced with a used pike coil u-turn. those we’re happy days

The 365 Day Flat Pedal Challenge - Sept. 14, 2021, 8:35 a.m.

i moved from clips and straps to clipless and stayed that way for a loooong time until i bought a fat bike and fitted some CB Stamps.

when the summer arrived i mindlessly moved the pedals to my mountain bike and since then i’ve ridden flats.

i can’t remember when it actually happened, perhaps 3 or 4 years ago.  i like it. it feels more natural and i enjoyed learning how to use them (to my standard, at least).
