I've had real good luck with the E-13 tires (latest version in mopro with the EN casing). also appreciably cheaper than maxxis/schwalbe.

depends on the front hub on your wheel. Could be as simple as putting a boostinator end cap on your Hub.

If your front hub isn't compatible with that or something like that, you will need a new hub, which means lacing a new wheel.

I am running PNW range bars (10 degrees), I find them more comfortable than a normal 8 degree bar. They are also pretty cheap as far as handlebars go.

For reference I rode Fubars for about 8 years, then 2 with renthal and am happiest with the PNWs.

in the summer i went from a minion SS to an aggressor and appreciated the better braking and traction. th elower profile side knobs were definitely noticeable though. I wouldn't want it in the wet but in the dry it was a pretty fun rear tire.

I have been super impressed (with that Z1, rode it last year as well), I'm not a small guy wither and they have held up well, creaking/flexing wise.

I got a hold of an Offering V2 and a warranty replacement (found a obvious fault in the carbon near the lower shock mount), both within the last month...

seems like there is some stuff getting through.

Also Evil was super easy to deal with.

well, that tire lever met its match E-13 enduro casing tire and E-13 rim.....never thought I'd snap this thing

Shimano shoes do seem to last forever as do specialized ones.

While I haven't worn the 2FO Cliplites myself I have really like the Giro Chamber IIs this season, one season isn't the best test of durability but they seem to be holding up great.

I've found just the ride quality of a more sturdy sidewall is better for me (I'm 220lbs...without riding gear). The support from a more robust casing helps me a lot especially cornering hard and to me just feels more supportive over rough-stuff.

I'd say go for the heavier duty casing, especially if you are heavier yourself.
