The 365 Day Flat Pedal Challenge - Sept. 18, 2021, 8:43 p.m.

People on the regular “comment” on my flat pedals. At my ripe age of 34 people call me old school for it. At very least its a bonus I can wear the same shoes to rides and the arpre’s and be comfy…

Bearing Swap - 2015 Juliana Roubion 1st Gen. (SC Bronson) - May 21, 2021, 2:30 p.m.

At least SC uses sleeves between the bearings now. How fucking long does it take to figure that out!

Pulling ACB’s aways leaves the putter race stuck in the links. I’d much prefer they used max bearings now the sleeves are a thing.

Nicolai Launch the Pinion-Powered Saturn 14 GPI - Nov. 14, 2020, 12:52 p.m.

That kind of looks like that crazy Ceramic Speed gear job inside the front triangle. Cool!

The Coolest Tool - Oct. 9, 2020, 3:02 p.m.

I dont think anything short of a breaker bar can break a DUB crank loose... hahaha

The 12° Fasst Flexx Suspension Handlebar - June 18, 2020, 9:44 p.m.

Rev Grips or Flex bars with for my hardail?

The Exactingly Simple Industry Nine Hydra Hubset - June 4, 2020, 11 a.m.

My biggest issue with I9 hubs is that half of the time I service the Torch, or Hydra hubs, the bearings can essentially be pulled out of the hub shell by sticking my finger in and pullling them out. I may be a mechanic but I am not a sausage fingered hulk ... Even after checking to see if the spoke tesnion is crazy high, which they have not been.

My money is on DT swiss all day long.

Introducing the All-New 240 Hub from DT Swiss - May 5, 2020, 8:36 a.m.

King may have the cache... but you'll never have to adjust a DT, parts are available to service everywhere, and they weigh much less. My money is on DT.

TLC Brass Nipples - Feb. 23, 2018, 7:58 a.m.

Ive cut too many old ENVE wheels apart with a pound of salt coming out to ever use alloy nipples on the rebuild. Theres a reason they switched to brass.I don't live anywhere close to the ocean either. I much prefer brass nipples over alloy for any wheel set you plan on having to true after a few seasons.
