jeez, hardaway

harsh.

"You know, I hate gay people, so I let it be known," Hardaway said. "I don't like gay people and I don't like to be around gay people. I am homophobic. I don't like it. It shouldn't be in the world or in the United States."

Best Rolling XC tire

Nobody's mentioned the Nevegal? 2.1 UST with a Blue Groove up front? That combo usually sits at or near the top of most xc tire shootouts.

yessir, you are right. my question, is, though. are 2.1 nevegals the same size as a 2.1 small block 8? (small block 8s roll real good and hook up well in dry, but are really more like a 1.9 on crossmax wheels)

11-32 vs 11-34 for AM riding?

i've been really happy with my bash-32-22, 12-27 w/ short cage road der. for all mountain riding. it doesn't limit me from cleaning the steepest of grades, and keeps the drivetrain tight and the chain on.

Trek Road bike size?

trek tt's usually run a tad shorter than some other popular brands. it would def. be either a size 60 (58 tt) or 58 (57 tt) though, but without knowing your body dimensions, i couldn't recommend one over the other, though.

Racism and political correctness

the answer to part of this question can be found in the analysis of why the africanadian renters tend to have late payments - past and present social conditions which may lead certain socio-cultural groups to certain behaviors.

also, these statistics refer to a population. when you apply it to a specific person, they don't neccesarily apply.

IE, one person of a specific color applies. while you could judge by prior experience the overall behavioral tendancies of a group, you don't know how this specific individual with behave; they could be a shining example of the stereotype you have, or they could be the exact opposite.

generally, stereotypes do have some sort of overall basis (whether it be incidental, from cultural tendancies, from socio-economic conditions, etc).
However, relying on even carefully gathered racial statistical data to make individual judgements is neither accurate or fair.
