Lock that Sh*t Up - July 10, 2020, 6:03 p.m.

You're absolutely right.

I should have been more specific, towards the "defeating" part of my original comment. He finds alternative means; double spanners, nut splitters, hydraulic cutters and Ramset gun, to break locks after his attempts at picking.

Lock that Sh*t Up - July 9, 2020, 12:45 p.m.

Remember guys, A chain is only as good as its lock, and a lock is only ever a deterrent.

Now not everyone has this guys skill-set or tools, but it goes to show how quick a lock can be picked/defeated.

His Ramset videos show just how quick (and relatively quiet) most locks can be defeated with something available from the hardware store.

2020 Ibis Ripley - Long Term Review - Oct. 29, 2019, 1:52 p.m.

"SRAM has Shimano licked right now on the shifter (not "shifting") game"

Which I interpret as Dave likes the SRAM shifter better, because the XTR shifter feels vague. But like the overall shifting of XTR betterer.

Fiveten and Adidas Reinvent the Flat Pedal Shoe - The Trailcross - Aug. 26, 2019, 3:05 p.m.

We mountain bikers are a vain bunch. Lol. Too many people value form over function.

These (especially the high top) interest the hell out of me. I love when companies take a gamble and think outside the box. They could have played it safe and made something that is just like everything else, instead they've taken more of a performance orientated approach to the design.

I'm quite confident that a lot of people will turn their noses up at these though.

Martin Maes and Dr. Clark Lewis Respond to UCI Ban - June 28, 2019, 7:07 p.m.

This article has a response from the emergency doctor in question.

In all reality I think the final onus falls on Martin and team to check, they had two weeks between the NZ Enduro and EWS Rotorua to check and apply for a TUE. If they had of, I feel that the TUE would have been granted and this whole thing avoided.

At the end of the day this is a hard lesson, and I do feel really bad for Maes in this instance.

Leatt 3DF 6.0 Knee Guards Reviewed - Oct. 6, 2018, 4:26 p.m.

I have ridden mine through a wet winter here in New Zealand I can say I have never had wet feet at the end of a ride. They don't look it, the toe box is a appears to be plastic/rubber mesh, but they shed water VERY well.

When they get muddy I hose them down and they will be dry the next morning. My old 5.10's would take days to dry, so this is a revelation for me.
