Bicycle Rockers Fundraiser / Party

This is what blows me away time and time again about the riding community. The level of caring about our fellow riders is truly incredible. Unfortunately, I'm on the other side of the country, otherwise I'd be there in a heartbeat.

Big ups to the organizers.

Best price on an e13 SRS?

Who's got the best price on an e13 SRS guide? They should be able to do mail order. Thanks.

To y'all hardcore ht with dual crowners

I had an 01 SuperT (6") on my Minuteman. It was dope. I now put that fork on a BigHit Comp and it feels MUCH more balanced.

yes. you would think people who would bid on stuff would have the money to back that bid up. especially when it goes to a cause such as this. thats pretty low to bid on something and not intend on paying for it.:(

Shit like that happens on eBay all the time. Unfortunately for teh NSMB auction, the rating system that is so important to eBay life is not really a factor here, and people aren't worried too much about their rating.

I hope that any of the people who bid on stuff cough up the dough. It would be a real shitty deal for them not to.

Dad's first duallie!

Yo, Check it out!

2003 Specialized BigHit Comp.

Put my cockpit and pedals as well as my fork on er. What an amazing bike! It's my first duallie, and so far, I gotta say it's pretty spanky.

What do you think?

Big decision... 6 inch Stinky to hardtail?

I have been riding and racing hardtails all my life (I'm 30 now). Over the past three years, I've been racing DH with a Balfa MinuteMan w/ a SuperT. I feel like I'm a pretty smooth rider because o fthis time spent "paying my dues". This year, I moved up to the open Expert class, and I'm getting absolutely killed trying to keep up with the boys on their M1s and BB7s.

I've finally taken the plunge and ordered a BigHit Comp (my SuperT will be going on it). This will be my first duallie, and I think I'm gonna love it.

Anyway, all that to say that I think that spending time on a HT WILL indeed make you a better rider. I'm looking forward to going faster than ever on the duallie, but I don't think I'd be as comfy on it without all the time spent on the Minuteman and other HTs I've owned. I do plan to get another one someday, but I can only afford one bike right now.

BTW, my MM frame is for sale. PM me for details! :)

Savage's Bicycle Center-anybody ever bought anything from here?

They are based out of Fredericton, New Brunswick, and yeah, they're the real deal. It's a tiny little physical shop, but they're the oldest bike shop in Canada. they know their stuff. You can feel safe ordering from them.

buy n sell woes

I run the buy and sell on ecmtb.com, only we use our forum software so that people can reply to ads. Usually everything is fine, but every once in a while, people get into HUGE arguments over an item. The other problem with this is that everyone gets to see the stupid offers from the kids. Crazy.

Ew! Poodles! They are the only dog that has ever bitten me. Damn things.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your dog. Mine is in my avatar. Putney's been a trail dog since he was 3 months old. He's amazing. I can't imagine my life without him now.
