AXS Eagle Economics - Sept. 25, 2021, 2:47 p.m.

G16 is running XTR shifter, XT mech, SunRace 11-46, KML gold chain, Canfield Bros crankset w/BS ring.

Have New Standards Made Bikes Better? - Aug. 28, 2021, 10:28 a.m.

Cleaning out a valve is key.  I put a drop of Tri-Flow into the valve stem before I inflate my tubeless setup in the hope that it lessens goop buildup at the valve.

Formula Selva C Fork - Aug. 4, 2021, 1:42 p.m.

Yeah no idea.  DH38 can be had @180mm travel and 46mm offset.  Many BOOST15 hubs can be converted to 20mm via end caps. Even then one should be able to swap the DH38 20mm lowers for the 38SC 15mm lowers.

Exclusive First Ride: The 2022 We Are One Arrival - Aug. 3, 2021, 6:33 p.m.

IMO the coolest part of the whole article is the whole Vlad PB article turning into him working at WAO.

Interesting that this front triangle will be the basis for two other bikes as well.  Be cool to offer XL rear end on L front end haha.

Alex Sinanan's Geometron G-1 - July 27, 2021, 2:42 a.m.

Really need to stop reading reviews of bikes.  Hahaha

Do you use the Lok switch on the Storia? I continue to wonder if the Arma would be a better shock for this bike? This as a person who has G16 @175 with X2 without a climbing switch and hasn't used a switch in well almost ever.

I find my G16 a little stretched out whilst doing seated pedalling. The G1 steeper STA should help with that, also more BB drop would put myself lower into the bike. Which should also help with the amount of spacers I have under the stem to get bar height up.

Formula Selva C Fork - July 27, 2021, 1:56 a.m.

Good to hear a Selva review is coming.  I'm highly interested in the upcoming Selva MK2 single crown and dual crown models.

Selva 29 extended is available in 170mm now.

Corsair Was High Pivot AND Pedaling, In 2007 - July 4, 2021, 10:10 p.m.

The HP+I is gaining a lot of interest as a 1 Gravity bike to rule them all: pedal up to gnar/Shuttle/Park/Race etc.  Especially w/ Dreadnaught ability to run dual crown and mullet w/Ziggy Link. Range w/DC ability.  Kavenz mullet.  The G1 is the same design philosophy(just doesn't fit a bidon in the triangle🙄): two rear travel settings w/2 different spring weights, unlimited fork configurations, wheel size whatever, run a larger shock, do what you want with the RC length.

Are these bikes better than their standard chain routed bikes; IDK. Sounds like DrewM knows a few people that flogged their Druids months after getting them.

IMO WW fascination has hampered mtn bike progress.  Top 3 questions I'm asked about my G16 are always in no order: How much does your bike weigh? How much does it cost? Is this carb0n?  I've never weighed any of my bikes but I'd guess that my G16 29 is pretty close in weight to my V10C 26.

We're at the point where people are equipping their Trail bikes w/4pot brakes,36/Lyrik/Helm/Coil-Overs or HV Air shocks/Enforced tyres etc. Myself included haha.

OChain Active Spider Review - June 15, 2021, 10:25 p.m.

1. Remove chain at top of run.

2. Affix hose chunk between ND side crank arm and bb bearing.

3. Enjoy chainless with less crank freedom whilst saving 100s of dollars and grams.

Love the Bike You Already Have - April 29, 2021, 10:32 p.m.

Article penned by an author who is riding one of the most progressive and adjustable frames out there 😂.

:p

Mike Grimwood's Forbidden Dreadnought - April 19, 2021, 4:33 p.m.

You likely have a longer inseam than I do then. My Longer (M) G16 I had to shorten my 9.8 FallLine 175 dropper. It was a hair too much at full extension. And the dropper collar was slammed to the post.

Anyway. Let’s get you all sciencey and swap the forks on this and the G1. A ride comparison for science.

Mike Grimwood's Forbidden Dreadnought - April 18, 2021, 7:51 p.m.

So a 1.75m person is able to ride a Large Dreadnaught and still run a proper length dropper post.

I have a G16 Mojo edition and have been Eyeing this frame. Lack of bike and parts availability is a real drag though.

Trailbuilding With E-Bikes - Another Tool in the Box - Oct. 11, 2020, 8:21 p.m.

I noticed a conflict of interest in the very first quote. 🤔

Trailbuilding With E-Bikes - Another Tool in the Box - Oct. 11, 2020, 8:20 p.m.

I’m strongly considering getting an e-moto trials. Because it’s the same as an ebike. Better yet a moto trials bike with its own built in genset. All the range. Ride further. Ride more. Ride on.

Worth Every Penny - Sept. 30, 2020, 3:06 p.m.

I got on the NF DP3 pant program a few weeks ago and some of the hemp tees. I had the same hang ups about the stretchy no adjustable waist. Yet at 1.75m and 80kg the mediums just fit myself perfectly. The wide waist stays put and keeps my muffin too on check. I wish I hadn’t held out for so long as the khaki colour from spring was straight fire. I’m looking at the Bezerker for real wet weather and road cycling wear rather than paying the Squamish GTX tax.

Picked up 5.10 Trailcross Mids so I’ll try the flats program again this fall/winter/spring.

Looking to replace my TLD A1 and this fit pending this Oakley helmet might take the cake. Although the Giro Tyrant is up there as well.

Let's Talk About Multi-Tools - Sept. 18, 2020, 3:33 p.m.

Some nice looking bike tools coming out now.

I’m after that Leyzne chain Plier next.

Just got a Wera Bike 1 this week.
