So many craft "brewers" throwing whatever roadkill they can find into the vat thinking they're clever.

Most often labelled as an IPA. Fucking dandelion water.

Yes there is a lot of beer weirdness going on. The Graham Cracker ale at Hearthstone sticks out as over the line Smokey.

Re: Trump.

Wonder how things are in the GOP today? Must be shitting themselves? Losing Alabama, I would guess the next federal election will be a landslide in favor of the Dems.
Maybe they will be helping to get the orange buffon out of office before it's too late?
I have this funny feeling Trump is trying to destroy the GOP and this is all a scam... I know take off my tinfoil hat.

Orbea is probably the nicest production bike. Nukeproof factory is one is the best values.

You seem to be a little bit all over the map with regards to travel with that list. Surprised there was no Slash, Enduro, Pole Machine, Nicolai Saturn-11, G-13, G-15 or my personal favourite; MOJO Edition G16.

Yeah wow, the prices are best value. I have never seen one in the wild so haven't heard any feedback first hand. The YT bikes are great for direct to consumer, have a buddy who loves his. His whole fleet is YT.

So if you go with someone that has a seasons pass you the big "deal" is that you only have to pay $109?? Kind of ridiculous.

Yeah it's crap. Won't be paying that, that's for sure.

Re: 1 Day tickets for Whistler

Most resorts have a 3day pass use in four days kinda thing.
WB getting rid of the pay as you go edge card is really the issue for most of us.
If you know someone with a seasons pass.

Beer of the week.

Just thought I would start a thread for favorite beers. There is so many craft/micro brews popping up here in Van.
Just would to like hear what may be something you really enjoy.

Happy Holidays

I will go first: Blackburn ESB @Callister
                        Wunderbar Kolsh @ Bridge
                        IPA @ Black Kettle

Re: Looking for some input.

Pretty much right now is the best time to buy. Right after xmas when the shops try to sell off the 2017 bikes before the next years stock shows up.
If I was you I would go to multiple shops and see what they are offering. For sure many will knock money off the marked price.

Happy hunting

This reminds me I haven't tried NQ on my new bike. I should, just to suffer and not feel guilty about consuming excessive beer afterward (you know, to undo any potential fitness gains from said climb). Executioner is a fun rip too. Maybe this weekend with the sun...

What are you saying? It's called recovery beer. I think many will be riding this weekend, skiing is on hold for now.

Haha yep, expecting a lot of people to be out enjoying the weather. I was debating ski touring one day as I want to get my legs under me but it will be pretty tempting to just bike... sounds like all of Seymour is good to go.

Seymour ski touring should be Ok, Hollyburn was far too boney last weekend on the bottom half.

I'm sure most trails will be good to go for bikes this weekend.

Sounds like that bike shop was trying to push their 27.5 stock
Long travel 29er is money. They work on the shore just fine.

I’m bumping this thread because I need a place to proclaim the extreme pain I felt today on my first ever ride up NQ. You guys were not kidding!

It probably didn’t help that I was riding an E29, but NQ is way more painful than BLT and it makes the Seymour climb from Old Buck to PL and GSM look like a spin.

Route was up Mtn Hwy, dn oilcan and across Bp to the climbing route and then down leppard/cc/kirkford. Much pain was felt. Much joy was had at the sight of MTN highway after climbing.

Yeah it sucks, but I ride it frequently. I am drawn to it but don't know why. It is a really good route to take if you want to get out there for some solitude. Executioner doesn't see a lot of traffic, and I enjoy ripping down Dreamweaver.

Re: firefox quantum.. anyone else has problems?

Posted by: aShogunNamedMarcus

So I downloaded Firefox Quantum. Suffice to say, I wish there was an uninstall or revert back to non quantum. Right after install (Tuesday), I experienced a complete lack of internet on my desktop from WiFi spottiness to not being able to browse online even with IE. I recall seeing on Mozilla.org two download options for Firefox and then ff quantum. If anyone could be kind enough to link to the non quantum for me, that'd be much appreciated; if it's still there. Word of advice: dont install quantum. I find a 20+ minute browser install ridiculous and I don't have a slow machine (I5-4570 @ 3.2 ghz, ssd and 24gb). Add to that, the install overwrote the old Firefox without warning or a target directory option. I'm writing this on my phones built-in browser so that and the new nsmb doesn't allow me to parse this into paragraphs. So I thank you.

I would run CC cleaner or something after your install. May be some issues with registry conflicts due to the overwrite.

How is it you can get insurance for driving a vehicle in situations that make it a weapon?

This is 100% it is. Its not just endangering yourself, i would be fine if it thats all it was, but you could literally kill someone because you cant stop. Fine should be 2k.

Winter tires should be mandatory country wide. Just because it doesnt snow doesn't mean that it doesn't get icy in the city. Cant afford them? Too fucking bad. Don't know why the province drags their feet on this. Seen so much carnage on the sea to sky and in Metro Van over the years.

Wind River was pretty good.

Shameless series with William H Macy continues to deliver.
