@Andrew Major its been a few years now. What kind of mileage are you getting from the SS ring? Any problems?

So you loved the med and bought a large? Now you sold the large and have a medium? How tall are you?

That seems kind of counter to the current trend of bikes getting more progressive. I just moved from a 2018 Range C7.2 I belive it was 18% progressive. To a 2020 Scout that is 25% progressive. Same rock shox super deluxe. Man what a difference. The bottom out feel was way nicer. I have now switch to a Super Deluxe coil, my first coil bike. The ramp is perfect. I have no idea how people ride Patrols "on coil" with only 11% progression. It would just bottom out like crazy.

Any idea how progressive the rear travel is? Sounds like they may have gone less progressive.

Needs some retro Totem stickers.

I love Sram GXP cranks for BB92 carbon frames. But with the Sram switching to DUB GXP is dead. These will be my next cranks. Now to get my Next G4 warrantied for the second time....

I can confirm the Code R develop the same lever flop.

I test fit DHR ll 27.5x2.8 on i40 rims and it did not provide adequate clearance imo. I am running Sun Duroc rims with i36 and Eliminator Black Diamond 2.6. Grip is ok but I am not a fan or how the casing sticks out past the knobs.

Any thoughts on the 27.5x2.6 High Grip.

I am looking at them for my Chromag Wideangle. I have read that they are a bit wider 69mm at the knobs and 63 at the casing. That really appeals to me as I find the Minion 2.5 a little harsh with the lack of volume.

Is that Cush Core for the poors?

I am on my 6th tailored Ride Wraped bike. Three of which  Calum did personally. I wash my bike with soap water and various brushes regularly. The bikes are wrapped to protect against rubbing, crash and flying rock damage. Also as I cycle bikes every 2 years it really helps with resale. 

I have never seen anyone dry brush their bike. That sounds crazy to me. All that dry dirt getting flung around is just going to end up on your drivetrain.

Can you point me to a link/instructions about the caustic soda part? I'd like my Grip lever to be polished silver rather than gold.

A while ago I took all the ano green bits off my DVO Onyx. Stripped them with caustic soda. Polished them to a mirror finish with mag wheel polish and a dremel. Sent them off to Altech to get anodized black. They are back and installed and they look awesome!!!! I hated the green but loved the fork. Here is a quick shot I took after my first ride back on the hardtail. 

Could easily be converted to full 27.5.

And they have the Onyx E1 which is made for ebikes, so more bushing overlap and probably stiffer crown too. Less chances of creaking is always welcome.

I have my eye on that. Just waiting for a 37mm offset.

Have you considered the Formula Selva? That fork really interests me.

I couldn't imagine going back to 2x or 3x. I am super happy with 1x11 and 1x12 setups.

I would go with another Dimond. I am super happy with my Onyx. The customer support is best in the industry. The adjustability is awesome and the OTT really let's you dial in the feel.

Three years for a CSU is awesome. Pike CSU last me about 6 months. Lyrik about 8 to 10 months. 

Other than the CSU what did you not like about the DVO?

With how much I am loving the RS Super Deluxe Ultimate Coil I am super curious to try the Jade coil. Looks awesome. It would be nice to have the high speed compression adjustment the Jade offers over the super deluxe
