View of the ramped-in log from above. Since I forgot my saw I could not take off the round top so that it would have been level with the ramp. Gotta do it the next time. |

Two reasons:
1. As a private person you are not allowed to cut up a tree over here (Tchermany), so bringing in a chainsaw or bowsaw was not really an option.
2. The tree had a diameter of around 50 cm and other trees had fallen onto the upper half as well and I figured it was a bit too dangerous for me.
