No, I did all the work myself. I think most shops would just look at you funny if you asked them :) The Z1 uppers are a direct fit, however I needed to use the internals and springs from an 03 dirtjumper (I had a broken one lying around) as the the 04 internals are designed to fit the 04s steel stantion which have a larger inner diameter (the stantions have thinner walls because they're steel).
I used the 03 springs with the shorter 04 spring spacers to shorten the spring stack, then used some 50mm negative springs to lower the fork. The fork can easily be changed back to 130mm by putting in the stock top-out springs and 03 spring spacers.
