Who els thought the lifty was being kind of a dick today?

I am not going to say his name but he was being very very rude to everyone in the line up at the bottom of the chair lift.
One lady made a complaint about him because apparently she wasn't holding her pass the right way when he was scanning it :rolleyes:
and he got real nasty with her with the attitude.
I also got the same treatment along with most people in line.
When he got off and they swtiched shifts everybody was asking the new lifty what the deal with him was. Apparently he's a bouncer of some sorts at his other job :rolleyes:
Leave the tough guy attitude at home and lighten up a little.

What's up with that? Usually they're pretty friendly [HTML_REMOVED] polite folks. Definitely report him, so maybe he can make an attitude change.

It would be crappy having to schlep bikes all day at the top, I could understand if he was up there.

Also, he may be just been dumped, or found out his girl was pregnant. Sometimes issues are hard to leave at home.

But, there's no reason to be nasty!

Hmmm usually very courteous folk doing the scanning. Never ever had an issue. Hope a complaint went to someone who has the pull to yank him from the lineup. Be a shame to spoil the rep of all the other liftees as they are excellent.

validators = scanners . . .

not the same as lift operators .

validators are part of guest relations .

lifty's are in lift operations .

maybe the guy was having a shitty day , girlfriend dumped him or something . . .

At first I thought "no way, the liftees have always been very nice" but then I read the description and I ran into this guy yesterday too. He gave the people in front of me a hard time and then I thought he was going to tell me that I was doing it wrong when I picked up my leg to so he could scan the pass that's in the clear pocket of my riding shorts. He kind of grunted and scanned me. It was not the experience that I've gotten used to up there.

The slightly older validator always stares at my pass and then me then my pass then me like I stole it. Always. Like 5 times in one day. Not a huge issue but it's starting to get on my nerves.
