She's running slow but should speed up quickly.

Busy.

HoD has been downgraded to an even lighter blue.

New squirrel catcher for aline looks perfect (wooden structure).

I did ride yesterday. Kept it handy though. A bit frustrating to ride somewhere so familiar and not being able to ride it the way I remember.

All that said, I will complain about this:

Nothing like getting rocks and dust in your face as you wait for the lift as people try to slay those berms so everyone knows how much of a fucking shredder they are.

you do know that this does change as soon as the landing for the last Slopestyle feature and last hit and landing for the Canadian open track gets online….then it will a straight shot into the village for the rest of the year…which is worse then this IMO….

So, are they allowing bikes on the new gondola cabins?

Was up on Saturday and it was great. Was busy but what can you expect when its dry on opening weekend and theres no gondola. Dirt Merchant and Aline rock drops were a little scary due to how soft they were. Thankfully they closed the ALine one. Shit myself a little in the air the first time i went off the dirt merchant one once i saw how soft and rutted the landing was.

Also lower Aline is pretty much unchanged aside from the first two jumps.

Seemed much less busy today. Not sure why that was the case, it was another beautiful day in the park!

Hah, I was waiting for a buddy and saw you snap this pic, kid looks stoked!

Great first day of the season today, barely any lines all day for some reason. New CIU is pretty neutered (you could ride the middle part below Fantastic, upper and lower sections were closed). Lots of rollers with one or two decent jumps. Lower A-Line, not sure what they did to that one jump after the woods section, feels like a big roller… last hit is fine though. Spent more time on tech than jumping today and had a blast, so nice to get in a ton of vert in one day.

A real issue for the past few seasons has been the campers by both the lift line entrance (metal corral) and the exit of the park to the village (wood fence things) - you know the guys just chilling, seated on the bike leaning on the rear leg and either setting up their playlist or doing who knows what but shit people, just move half a foot over. Maybe even try to align yourself so it looks like you arent a complete self absorbed douche and the world moves around you as you stare me down for riding by you.

haha this should be made into a sign and mounted in those locations.
