Which shop to get the latest greatest trail map?

I'd recommend the trailmapps app. Cost is about the same and you get GPS locator , trail descriptions and periodic updates with new trails. For me the advantage is I can make details larger and read the damn thing with my contacts in. The paper map has small print and details.

Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

a portion of the paper map sales support worca, no money from app sales goes to worca.

I like having a paper map as well. I have discovered most of the trail apps that were available for iphone have been updated with android apps. I got whistler, squamish, and North shore apps now. LUV them!

Any of the shops should have them and they are very very up to date. Bought one for my gf the other week and it has alot of stuff i was surprised to see on there.

Agree with flip, buy the paper and that support worca.

Flip, checked out where Highside is in the rain on Sunday, but did not ride it… looked really wet.

we were climbing SCAP anyway. My boy wanted to ride Lower Babylon without snow this time, so he could hit the jumps coming out of the drainage ditches. Then we hit Tunnel and then up to Big Timber and home.

sort of a go-to wet weather ride for us.

will try High Side soon… off for vacation on Friday to more southern riding climates. Bend, Tahoe, Mammoth, Santa Cruz. Good times.

I spent a few hours doing a bit more benching and tweaking Sunday afternoon, I'm sure it's GTG by now with the heat….glad we got a bit of rain over the weekend, it needed it…enjoy your vacation!

High side was good Saturday. Was that your grey hoody in a tree?

right on, stoked to hear it! that loop is turning into a fav for sure, although since I'm in bayshores the blast up kadenwood and cutting across to lower babylon is pretty easy. I really love that first part of lower babylon too before SCAP, just a really nice trail surface and just technical and up/down enough!

forgive my lack of knowledge with the area. Im curious how you do this loop?
Do you climb Farside or do you climb the east side main road, then descend farside, then climb the microwave climb twice to descend hiline and IBT? Or do you climb farside, hiline, and then do IBT?

if you climb farside, hang a right on Cheak Lake rd at the very end of farside, you'll see highline going up to the left at this junction. ride up Cheak Lake rd for 10 minutes or so and you'll see see colours and puke on the left, take that left and climb up this old skidder road for about 5-10 minutes, at the skidder landing SCAP will climb to the right and high side goes to the left, high side comes back out on cheak lake road a couple hundred meters from highline/farside. Climb highline, take a right on the microwave road, and then look for IBT on the left.

Thanks Flip. I think for my first go i will just skip high side, and just jump on to highline and save some for IBT. I was not sure if Highline is a climb/descend trail.
