Soooo, it's getting to be that time for some trail riding!
Has anyone been on the Lost Lake or CYB yet? Have things dried out enough yet for some mountain bicycle riding endeavors?

looks like whistler is still not quite ready, but I heard Kill Me Thrill Me is ridable.

Still snowy in cyb and ll won't be long though. Might go walk the dog on kmtm or danimal area to see how that is. But the areas in the shade still have lots of snow.
Just rode out to Kill me Thrill me, still a bunch of snow, I didn't make it 10 metres.
Yeah it'll be a week or two I think.
Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.
The first section is often the worst and it will clear up further in but I would guess it is still early yet too. Pemby/Squamish/Road pick your poison at this point.
Farside, ampm needs a week +
AMPM good to go, snow on the road, but we hacked out the last of the ice last night and gave it a bit of a buff, will probably be in there a bit more this week giving it some more love before it gets crushed….
what are the "must-hits" of whistlers non-park trails?
Prefer to pedal up singletrack but it's all about the descent for me, so not really looking for all day epics like Comfortably Numb.
High on the list is Rockwork Orange, the pics I've seen are my type of riding. Hoping to make a trip down there in June, will everything be snow free?

Everything? No.
It's Business Time is a lot of fun. Kill me Thrill Me is a longstanding popular trail. So many quick hits too like Cut Yer Bars and Danimal. Bon Appetit!
My fav climb to descends would be Upper Jaws to Billy Epic (has some sweet ruts since the EWS),Pura Vida, Hey Bud and Golden Boner to RITL to IG.Theres also a couple more not so known ones that are good fun too. Post closer to the date and ill let you know whether they are rideable yet.
I walked the dogs down Sea to Sky to Trash. Sea to Sky had some snow patches that might force a dismount but mostly clear to Trash which had nearly zero snow. I saw Flip (I think) riding Trash backwards. I would guess Justa Nother Trail is clear enough too. Riverside and Farside not ready yet.

it was me….rode ampm then out and back on trash, good to break in the new rig on techy wet roots and rocks! only one small patch of snow on the microwave road that you have to walk through, everything else is rideable to ampm…rebuilt the first berm on ampm this morning
Thanks gunna check it out soon
