Such a good day today. First park day in a year or two for me. Definitely foresee more coming this summer

I was just looking at the whistler mobile app on my iphone and I saw two trails listed in Garbanzo I don't remember from last year; Dealers choice and Mackenzie river.
Anyone know what the dealio is with them?

Can't say I've ever heard of Dealers Choice, but Mack River was there last year.

Very tight little trail that spits you out over in Duff zone/Golden Triangle. It's fun and it feels like you are on a different mountain.

Rode Dealers choice today, it is a split off renegade, fun little tech trail. McKenzie River is also techish fun.

Today cold and wet until like 11:00ish then slowly started to clear up and dry out, pretty much perfect, bit of blue in the sky now as I'm heading out for an xc loop

I don't know what you guys are talking about. This weekend sucked, I hated having grip all the time.

Everyone should definitely avoid going next week because it's going to be terrible. Garbo zone opening and late summer hours kicking in at the same time? I'll take one for the team and let you all know how it went. The rest of you shouldn't have to suffer so you can just stay home.

PSA:

All seasons pass holders: Remember your free bring a friend pass expires on this Friday (14/06/13).

For some reason I thought it didn't expire for a few more weeks.:???:

garbo opens 22nd, theres a sign at fitz that says sorry for the confusion since they had one earlier saying it was this weekend.

Ah thanks for the clarification. That was confusing between the sign at the park and the updates online…

Cougar was closed all day today. Should be buffed as fuck tomorrow.

Did they slightly alter Technoir this year? The steep pitch before the rock roll seems different this year… and it seems they sharpened all the rocks there. I imagine many a tire and rim will fall to those this year.

Pretty much perfect conditions there today.

Also, has the entrance to Dirty been closed for a while?
