Couple of pics from this weekend..

Smoke [HTML_REMOVED] Mirrors

Wednesday Night Delight

Definately a LONG weekend with these lineups.

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

Yes, there are a few spots on the HOD berms where you can catch a little air, but it puts you offline for the next one. Looks like they renamed Funshine Rollydrops to Upper Smoke [HTML_REMOVED] Mirrors. I like the work they've done on it. Tech Noir [HTML_REMOVED] Joyride were sketch. Best part was sweeping Schleyer at the end of the day. Sweet!

I thought tech noir was running awesome, made it a regular addition after DM. As a group we also really liked the new feel of heart of darkness, often going out of our way to hit it up all weekend. Couple spots of wet even today on the jump trails making it difficult to carry speed. Otherwise conditions were awesome.

Finally made it up there today. It was busy but manageable. Conditions were awesome. Nice [HTML_REMOVED] tacky but some of the trails were already starting to show some wear from all the traffic over the weekend.

I don't think I've ever seen the dirt that good in the bikepark. Grip for miles…

What a difference seven days makes.

Ten direct to lift laps, at which point my body says I should probably wait till next time to go longer.

Amazing conditions today.

You do realize all the enemies you're making, don't you? All the folks who had to WORK today?

I started working as soon as I got home and will be working throughout the weekend if it's any consolation!

Sweet baby jesus, finally.

We also have a plan to reroute the section through the shale straight away through a new zone that would add 4 to 6 new features and a few hundred meters of length to the trail!

Sweet baby jesus, finally.

The future junction around lower A-line/Hornet may involve a tunnel (8-ft diameter corrugated steel pipe), if what I saw today was for real.
