Yip his a kook for sure. One of the worst youtubers out there for outing trails.
funniest thing was him setting up a GoFundMe for financial losses to his YouTube channel from the Pandemic. I think he has 10 subscribers.

One of the worst, period.
Thanks nikel for the honest info, always appreciated here!
So the news is out, June 29, some more details are here: https://www.whistlerblackcomb.com/explore-the-resort/about-the-resort/commitment-to-safety.aspx - hints at progressive trail openings.
$80 lift tickets, what were they last year? Felt like it was less? No mention of restricting the sale of day tickets, they even say you can buy in person. Opening day line-ups could be biblical. Debating going on the 30th, not sure if I'll just ride my trail bike or rent a V10 from Evolution, depends what is opening I guess, will wait for more info.
It looks like they've not updated their 2020 passes section - no mentions of the 3hr/10 lap bookings to be made in advance - no mentions of a person cap per day - lots about how you'll be protected and what you can eat
I hope no-one goes and buys a bunch of invalid tickets unless the calendar just disallows purchases. I also wonder whether they'll be looking for BC billing addresses only.
It says stay tuned for 2020 season pass info on a page somewhere. You can buy daily bike park lift tickets (and sight seeing) starting June 29, for $80 + tax.
I reserved a V10 at Evolution for the 30th cuz I'm up there anyway, can cancel it 48h in advance, will see how things play out. I miss the park but mostly the black/double black tech so if that is limited I'll cancel and ride valley trails/Pemberton etc. instead.

Yeah let us know if you go. Thats a steep price to pay to bake in lineup with your mask on only to ride a few blue trails. $80 does seem higher than last year, but I dont remember to be honest.

$65 last year for day tickets.
Yikes. The Vail tax is getting pretty steep.
Holy fuck $80 for a day pass now?
My Whistler days are looking pretty over at this point...
$80 a day? F that crap.

It’s a good way to get rid of the bag lunch crowd

Throw gas, parking, lunch and post park beers in and Vail can kiss my hairy ass.

I'd say American's make up a hugggggggggggge chunk of the line.
Until they get their shit together, which is doubtful until the North destroys the South again, I hope we keep the border closed.
So I'm going in with the bet it's gonna be quiet as fuck.
"Until the North destroys the South again"
😂
