First world problems buttercup, take it easy. You are from the city aren't you?

Haha yeah, first world citiot problems... it's just rage at Vail for the same fuck-up twice in their first year of operations... if I lived in Whistler I'd just go get the pass after work.

Go up a day early and get it sorted out, and stay overnight and spend some $.  Might make the mayor happy.  (And you call it a fuckup.)

Lucky for Nancy I am way too lazy to brown bag it (and throw my brown bag trash around the parks). My day tripper ass contributes $15 lunches and $8 parking damn it! I demand satisfaction from WB.

Riding Squamish on Sunday, might just rip up to Whistler after and get my pass after so I don't have to wait next weekend...

Just picked my pass up (zero line) and they had an updated trail map:

For comparison, last year's/current online map:

Seems like they changed some of the names since the preview day last fall?

Is Midgard only accessible from top of the world? Or can one cut across from Una Moss/Upper No Joke intro ?

And on another line, the Rockshox clinic sign ups are open - are these good for an intermediate rider/mechanical luddite?

looks like midgard will be right by the Hwy86 bridge...so, pretty much rideable from garbo...that being said, why isn't No Joke above Hwy 86 on that map??

I went to one during crankworx and will say yes, assuming it's the same thing.

Delayed Fuse must be what "Fluffy Muff" was and South Park/Earth Cirus was "Goldirocks" during the preview days last fall... Insomnia must be new. Dusty's DH also isn't on that map so I'm assuming No Joke missing is just a graphic goof up, otherwise I'm picketing outside Vail HQ.

I saw the entrance to Midgard last fall and from memory it's a little ways up from the Highway 86 bridge, maybe half way up the VD trees exit so a 5 minute push from the bridge?

Think I'm taking Friday off for opening day... why not.

Map looks good to me...

Looks like 7 Year No More as Una now owns it all and one of the funnest parts of the mountain won't be fucked over by 30 people hanging out at the end of 7 Year More.

Midgard looks fun, so it's likely it'll be worth the 5-10 minute push (if you have a sled) from that Una corner.

Lemme know if anyone has any luck transferring unused winter edge card days to summer days.

I was able to do this last year. It was amazing!

Friend who works for WB said they are doing that again this year, but this will be the last year.

Weird, buddy of mine called this week and was told he could not transfer edge days to his bike park pass. I'll tell him to stop in at guest services after riding this weekend and asked. Just finishing swapping some wider bars onto the DH rig, can't wait for tomorrow!

Words eaten, no line @ WB customer service at 9:30am Saturday morning, they were fully staffed up. I heard it got busier later on though.

Awesome first day of the season, conditions are great. They opened Lower Canadian Open at the end of the day and it has a fun little rhythm section at the end this year.
