Today the lines were spilling out both the regular and singles gates from at least 5 to 7.

As for parking, if you want to park in the day lots, if you get there before 11 you should be fine.  If you're arriving after 11, prepare to park elsewhere.  Lot's 6+ are available during CW as they're spinning Excal.

I read somewhere they won't let you take bikes up Excalibur though? Better throw an Eagle cassette on the DH bike to pedal up to base 2.

No lines after the Garbo DH was over just before 5 today. Marcelo took his fifth win. Dude owns that race.

Maybe that's when the lines at Fitz just stated to build? I went out at 6pm to do a few quickies, but the singles line was overflowing. I did one lower mountain lap only to return to an even longer line. I'm back at home now drinking a beer.

So I did an Air DH race for the first time in my life today.. which coincides with my first ever race.

I choked in many ways.. can't believe they wouldn't take my last practice lap as legal tender. Fucking Trump.

That said, it was a blast and I suggest anyone on the fence to get off it and do it next year.

I did it last year and was i was pathetic.  Consider myself a pretty decent rider.  Could do full practice runs and while I was tired, I was fine and still riding good by the end.  In the race I hit the first jump along the road and went to pedal out of the corner to cross the road and clipped a rock with my pedal and was out of breath for the rest of the run and barely made it down, came like third last in my class.  Buddy who i was practicing with and was same speed finished like 20 seconds ahead of me.

That being said, it was still awesome.

She is hurting out there.

Lines are sporadically low, but easier to assume it's barfing out all sides.

Bring on the rain and the end of the CW

You know that feeling when you see a group of people having fun and you're sitting to the side thinking, "jerks".

nickel, did you take part in the D1 fun? She's getting pretty close, no?

Ever have one of those days you all of the sudden forget how to ride a bike?

That happened to me pretty much at the start of BC's. Ate shit a bunch of times. It's dusty as hell, lots of bears and I've been riding a lot lately, but shit. Zero to complete beginner in 50 feet.

Super busy today.

Top of the World question...

I'm up at the weekend and will only have enough time to get a short run in. I'd like to do top of the world, it doesn't look like I'll need anything more burly than my Process 153 for it - is that correct - no big drops and jumps ?
Given the bike and the intermediate rider, what runs would be recommended from 'Top' back down to base ? No Joke->drop-in / expressway -> blueberry bathtub -> crank it up/C-more/Heart ?
