Oh, and I stock up on the hanger bolts at crankworx.  Yeah the SRAM mech's are grumpy, but they usually give me one or two.

I completely forgot how fun the ALine combo under EZ is.

It always looks like you're going to smack your head on the Oakley sign if you take the right side lip.

That is all.

I need to try that hip jump still, I've always taken the two step-ups into the trees instead.

Threw in new brake pads and put a new DHF SuperTacky up front and moved my DHR 2 3C to the rear... man those Maxxis wire beads are a bitch... can't wait for the weekend.

Hoping some of the moisture in the dirt from last week is still hanging around up in Garbo.

Those jumps have way more bark than bite.  They feel like cmore or upper Aline double.  Pretty mellow and you don't need much speed on them.

Did TotW today.  There was snow where I expected there to be no snow and no snow where I predicted the snow to be. Not much of it left.  It's all near the top in the OOB ski area. I only do this once a year so my knowledge of it is low, but it seemed like it was almost all open?

Also did that trail the powerful brake-pad Lobby built - Dusty's. Can't wait for alternatives.

Thanks for the TOTW update. Been waiting for it to open.

Good description of Dusty's. I thought the same when I rode it for 1st time. Good for burning up the brake pads and that's about it  lol..

I forgot to add, I finally bagged that high line on OSin. It wasn't pretty, but I got it.

That's the only time I'm ever wanting more than 21 teeth in the rear.

I rode TOTW on Monday morning and all sections up to the Khyber fork were open. Good to hear the snow is melting quickly. I definitely encountered several unrideable patches of snow a couple days ago.

Oh, and man, is Boyd's ever punched these days from bike park traffic!

My bike came with 38/11-19 gearing and I still haven't dealt with it. I have to stand to pedal up the hill to the start of Bline/Schleyer etc.

Sucks about Boyds/BC's... I'm parking Creekside again this weekend cuz of the Ironman and prefer taking it to Dusty's, although it's a bit much as a last run when I'm tired.

Well my friend, you're worse off than me.  Good luck though :D

Is that a home-brewed cassette?

Yep, it's an Ultegra road cassette cut down to 7 gears with a custom spacer (Aurum is 142 spacing so I guess 7 speed is all that fits). When it's time to replace, I will get a bit more range... and really should throw a 34 or 36t up front.

Super fun day today. I managed to finally man-up and run Scheleyer and Clown Shoes - and I cleared them both after a "spotting" lap! The park is in pretty good shape considering the lack of moisture, Bathtub is a blast - great work Nickel.
