Now if the rain would pause for 30 to let me do a few..

Well son of a bitch.  Thanks for that.  Now I'll know to ask for this every time it's needed.

After this rain, next week is going to be so good. Hoping to get a weekday in. Hope Garbo is not too muddy. Why does there always seem to be a mud puddle right before a steep ladder bridge or a nasty rock face, lol?

So was I right in thinking patrol/crew forgot to rope off freight train before the BV bridge?

So how was Garbo today? Worthwhile or let it dry for a bit? Heading up tomorrow but I remember most garbo opening weekends as being mudfests!

Muddy /snowy blue velvet and fire road only until where captain safety starts then most stuff is pretty good from there down. Lower freight train especially nice, lots of new work in there. Same for too tight, almost a whole new trail. Sloppy in deep was the highlight up there for me.

One of the first corners of BV past the Una Moss road has grown the biggest mud hole I've ever encountered in my bike park career.

As Kevin said, once you make your way down to the fire road to get to the Creekside gondy, you're good.  But getting there is a chore for now.

I just kept to FT/NJ/DIC/etc.  Was Blueberry closed?  They haven't updated their site to include it in the open/closed.

Booberry is closed Still. Bottom is not quite done and some of the winter damage still needs to be tended to. 1-2 weeks out depending on weather.

Where/what is this new Blueberry trail you folks are talking about?

I did an Elevation Camp this weekend, fixed my shitty jumping skills to be slightly less shitty and was shown a faster (for me) line through Schleyer rock garden which was fun. Part way through yesterday I blew up the damper in my DHX2, amazing how sketchy corners are when you have a 500lbs spring pogoing the back wheel all over the place.

Walk up from the exit of Fatcrobat and look to your right.  Or hit Expressway at the container jump and ride for a bit then look left..

And  please don't walk around on it to look. It's still wet from winter and never got packed in by bikes so will be easily thrashed. Its about 2.5km of tightish blue flow trail without jumps. Think along the lines of b-line having a baby with ninja cougar.

Did one BV lap and felt guilty as hell.. it is getting absolutely destroyed.

Someone turned on the summer switch this aft and the fitz trails are back to hero levels.

There's always got to be a sacrificial lamb. Stay off closed trails and you've got nothing to feel guilty about.

Getting fast again.

I think tomorrow will be the day to beat until the next rain.  If I'm lucky, I'll make it for one before sweeps.  (Why do people line up for sweeps?  I've never understood that..)

I think it's the idea of having the whole trail to yourself. It's pretty quiet during a sweep.
