I forgot to mention.  They dumbed down DBV.

Much flowy goodness right now.

Really? Haven't ridden it since opening weekend... will check it on Saturday.

Was wondering if LCO was going to go the way of the Dodo... that is not the case.  The step down is now sporting a lip.  The biggest question remaining is how we merge (or hopefully jump over) the EZ folks.  I just hope there are no rollers before the jump.  I'm tired by the time I get to the bottom of the hill and it's high-time the trail crew cater to the needs of the elderly.

New CMore is up and running (well, probably not today and tomorrow).  It wasn't on my regular rotation, but the beginning seems very different.. more jumps if I remember correctly.  For those who are comfortable on Aline and DM, you really should take it easy going through there.  Landing to flat is pretty automatic.

Speed was bloody ridiculous this past week.

Saw the crew working on the new trail.. Blueberry something or other.  Can't wait to give that a go.

That is all.

Park was mint on Monday. Minimal lines & the braking bumps are not too bad yet. Reductimat is correct, the dirt is fast so make sure your brakes are good. Schleyer best trail bang for your buck.

C more is basically a new trail. Jumps line up with each other and speed should be more consistent. Hopefully better fits the bill it was intended to fill.

Today was again, amazing, aside from some gusty winds that made the bigger jumps spicy.

A bit of jealousy clouded my vision when I saw a fully loaded patrol truck taking six+ bikes heading up to Garbo.  Filming on the new Blueberry trail?

Whatever the case, May and June are the best months to ride the park.

The new blueberry trail is still drying from winter and has a few spots that still need touching up from its first winter. We wouldn't subject it to that right off the get go. A bit more sun is needed so the trail can get properly ridden in.

So Lower Canadian Open opened and looks great...  The only problem is I'm just loving that last kicker of Aline.  Too much fun to pass up.  Hoping LCO gets a kicker of its own once Joyride finishes up.

Forgot to mention.. countdown is on.  Five days till Garbo opens.  Here's to hoping it's not a hot mess up there.

have you hit a million vertical feet yet? if not it must be because you're not rolling 29's.

No.  It's because my selfish wife scheduled her hernia surgery for the second week of the bike park.  What a jerk.

Had a day off yesterday and wow, mid-week bike park on a cloudy day is amazing, just riding directly onto the chair every damn lap. I think I'm gonna hang low in Fitz this weekend. Wouldn't mind hitting up lower No Joke but looks like a bit of a fuck around to get there on a muddy Blue Velvet to Bear Cub road.

Man the park was running sweet the last couple days if I don't say so myself. Some rain today then looking gorgeous for the weekend. Bring your cape and superman undies for the hero dirt.
