Nickel is right, it doesn't take too much speed coming off that rock to launch it successfully. It looks tougher than it is. There is also a line rider's left that you can roll off the rock.

Nice, thanks. I've been taking the slow line on the left for years. I don't know why I've been avoiding the drop all this time. I think it's mostly because I've been too gassed at that point in the trail to attempt anything!
Maybe stop & take a breather before you come up to it.
The launch I can't wrap my head around is the fairly big drop on Renegade. You can take the ugly sharp left greasy rock roll or go for the large-ish drop off the rock. The landing is pretty sketch. I haven't tried it yet. I think it's a step up from the one previously mentioned.

It's much easier than it looks :)
If you can do the larger Wednesday night delight drop or the middle and large drops in the Joyride skills park then you can do the drop on In Deep. Don't mach in to it and you'll be just fine :D I bet you'd probably be just fine even if you did mach it.

Shit i would say some of the steps just before the left to right hander to armored chute just above the drop are significantly harder to ride than that drop.
^^^ Agreed. I've gone OTB more than once by stuffing up those root step/drops above the rock chute. The In Deep drop is pretty small if just roll off the end of the down sloping rock, smaller than Schleyer drops, and it has a clean/straight run out. Stop and take a look see so you can see exactly where to go on it, you can see the landing before you take off as well.
I need to take a look at Renegade this weekend, been avoiding trying it.
God damn fucking smoke just won't fucking leave.
Worst day of the season so far for smoke. :( Nasty airborne particulate matter levels (PM2.5) are up to 275 µg/m3, the highest in the province. I was out all morning and early afternoon and now I have the too-much-campfire-scratchy-throat feeling.
I finally sent that In Deep drop, though, and — as many of you pointed out — it was surprisingly uneventful. Thanks. Even had the courage take the left line off the rock on the first chute with the big bike today.

It's always good to conquer a certain stunt or drop in the park.
Haven't attempted that left line on the first rock chute of upper In Deep, still looks scary to me. We put in two shorter days Sunday/Monday, smoke wasn't bothering us too much although my buddy and I both felt a bit unfocused mentally. His day ended early when he noticed his rear axle nut had rattled off about a third of the way into Dusty's DH... that was a long walk for him.
C-More is so much faster after the rebuild. Very easy to overshoot some of those jumps now. Quite a fun trail now.
I agree. C-More is a nice change from my usual diet of Dirt Merchant/A-Line jumps. The last few jumps before the Fitz chair crossing are fun to send deep. Some of the jumps have annoying braking bumps up the faces that suck speed, though. :(
It's beginning to look a lot like Crankworx.
Lots of pros are here.
(Yes, you are supposed to sing that bit)
The Garbo track is already taped (at least up here).
Hoping Eddie Masters makes a sequel to last year's "The Hangover" for the Dirt Diaries.
