Fatcrobat reopened today. I bet you'll probably like it. Get it before it rains (we'll close it again if significant rain comes along). If you skid, we'll find you, and we'll make you apologize ;)

I most certainly noticed and most certainly have been enjoying it. That said a big rut is starting to form around the last turn…

It'll always do that, it's wet there and super tight. Some things you just have to accept :)

Reducti rode a tech trail? WTF is the world coming to?

What is the intended line around the big rock face? I noticed one line traverse around the rock and many go straight over the top and end in pancake flat bottom.

FYI thought I broke my shin in that spot on Gran Fondo weekend.

Why slag free swag?

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.

Epic yesterday. Sure today will be great too. Finally managed to pick off some tech moves - Flithy Ape, the new one to the right of FA and the Manager. Was forced to do the Manager as my practice roll started with a slide to the first hump, a little scary but it worked out.

Gutted I've missed so much of the season due to injury and family commitments but happy I can still mix it with the younguns

Can't believe how busy it was down below (thank you Sundial) yet Garbo was DTL for me for eight laps from open.

Things are so fucking good right now. That said, WBP, what is this shit:

:D

That jump there still gives me fits, but when I hit it right it's a good'er.

First time back today in a couple yeas after I blew up on the Canadian open step down. Wicked day on the bike and great to get that monkey off my back. Brake bumps suck!

I was five-layer dip today…

Looks like today was the last of the good ones for '16.

Hoping tomorrow will be ok. Got a day pass to burn for my first day. If this sun holds it should be good!

Nice work on Fatcrobat nickel. Most excellent golding followed by surprise loam. I'd prefer if the woodwork was nuked, esp. the ladderbridge you have to turn left on. Line choice on point though.

Also upper A-line dirt work was great. Tacky dirt all around.

Fatcrobat was unusually smooth, that's for sure. Such an under rated trail, I love all the little rolls. I hadn't been that way in a while an even the main line on In Deep beside the triple rock roll is filled in and the exit tranny from the chute seemed easier. Do be careful when you take a hard left onto that ladder bridge on fatcrobat, slippery coming off that new gold! I personally like that wooden line though. Drop off the end then rock roll to berm, pretty cool. I got a little confused at the loam across the ski hill, seemed to be multiple lines. It would be cool if you could exit to lower BV there (might be one of those lines), the final section is my favourite part of BV. Looks like D1 is going to be a machine made trail. More fun for next season!

Ugh, 10mm Friday, 20-30mm Saturday, 10-15mm Sunday… at least the line-ups won't be bad haha. Still planning on Sunday/Monday but we will see. I hope the forecast is wrong.
