Ride from Vancouver to Whistler (Aug 13)

Hi, I'm visiting from California and going to Whistler for the first time. I'd like to be there early so I can maximize the day (before 10AM). I was hoping to get recommendations on how to get there early (most of the shuttle services arrive there in the afternoon)… I'd also love to carpool. I only need to get there… I have ways of getting back. I will have a bike with me, fyi.

So if you have recommendations or open to carpooling, let me know (I'll chip in for gas). SO STOKED (and scared… lol!) to go to Whistler…

Thanks, guys! Greyhound is a good option but with a full assembled bike, it might be a hassle. The Epic Ride shuttle seems to be the best bet so far. Thanks!

Gonna start another thread on which North Shore trail to hit on a big bike (already did Mt. Seymour 3 yrs ago).

Heckler… I saw you post on a couple of "where should I ride North Shore" posts. I was wondering what your opinion is of Fromme? I'm an intermediate rider more keen on the techie stuff than big jumps/drops/skinnies. Which trail on Fromme would you recommend? Unfortunately (OR fortunately), I will only have a dual crown DH bike.

Then from Seymour to Fromme :-)

Thanks, Spinner… I have done Seymour (although this was in 2011, my first year scaring myself). Would love to see CBC again (especially since I remember it being shuttle-friendly) but the interwebz says Fromme is not to be missed.
