On satelite image you can see a logging road up to a cutblock about halfway the trail. The rest would be pushing up the trail. No idea whether it's worth it.

In a previous life when I lived in Europe and there weren't good online sources for trail info, we looked at paper topo maps, picked some interesting looking dotted lines and set out. Often ending up pushing for hours. Sometimes it paid off and we found an epic descent, other times it was bushwacking back down as well, lol. This is how people like Ash Smith (or Trans Provence fame) find new trails for their events.

I sometimes miss that exploratory element but here in Canada we lack that history the Alps have of centuries of migration, smuggling, wars, etc. that left behind countless trails. Definitely less romantic to know a trail was built for helidrops for wealthy mountain bikers than some old story about locals smuggling contraband across a mountain pass in WW1.
