Another semi-interesting thread, I think… I'd like to know the age categories of those who are horny for the park. Those of you who either froth for a day ticket or 3 day pass, or those who bang out the half kilobuck for the full meal deal seasons pass.

Whatever your poison, if it's park, what's your age??

Thanks for participating!!

38, Season Pass. Hope to get about 40 days in the bike park, and about another 100 outside the bike park doing both trail and DH.

I commented a few times last year in the lineup how many older riders there are, both male and female. The poll results are not surprising. It does make sense though, as it's not a very accessible sport for young people. DH bikes are expensive, you need a vehicle to either shuttle or get to the bike park. I meet a lot of young people on the chairlift in the winter who say they'd love to try the bike park but can't afford it. Many of them say they won't be staying for the summer, but would if they could afford a bike.

if you'd seen him riding a bike in person you would've guessed 65.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

The limitation of the pole is that the users of the NSMB BB are of the older variety. If you asked the same pole on Pinkbike you'd get a huge bias towards the 12-22 year old categories. Demographics make it hard to get a fair representative sample.

Season 12 coming up,I've seen all the changes, back in the days of Good Call(Dertroit Rockcity) when Aline kicked you off to Ho Chi Minh, when Rippin Ruttabaga was the place to be, Whatched them build Shleyer and witnessed the birth of Clown shoes for their 1st freeride race, which i raced but came in 60th place, was a full punter then. Now just a savage for gnar a plenty! In 03 rode with a boot cast,Dirt Merchant was born, the Glc drop was supersized, and at the end of the year they gave the Garbo tour to passholders!I was 25 and full of piss and passion, now 36 raw dogging mother f-cker,ready to be unleashed for season 12,the fleet is ready,On your left Rider up! See you soon,I'll see you real soon!

36. Bought a new DH bike last year. Still enjoying the park hugely. But most of my big-bike-riding buddies have cashed out due to family, beer guts, other commitments. 90% of my riding is done on my Enduro but there's nothing quite like the feeling of things really singing on the big bike. I'm feeling it start to phase out, but I've become more cautious as I get older, even though I'm fitter than ever and ride with more precision than I used to. I guess that's a winning combination for now.

I think if I didn't get my big bike time I'd really miss it.
