Can someone please answer me - Is ninja cougar now open to the public? So many people seem to be giving different info - it was def. not open on the weekend and the website is still saying it is closed.

Alright maybe it as a result of the departure of D. Kelly but what happened to grrreat names in the bike park. There have been some legendary ones - fatcrobat, original sin, heart of darkness, no duff, clown shoes, joyride etc.

Karate monkey was never my favorite name. The gong was fun and the trail is fantastic. Schleyer is just a little bit ego centric (but some people need monuments of themselves). And the national - detroit rock city name change - well lets not go there.

Ninja Cougar? Great trail terrible name. Next, Whistler will be offering colouring books. Also some of the cliches being posted by the whistler pr world are just painful (ie "your job is better than my vacation" {cheddar-fromage}). How much do those pr people get paid?

Then again maybe I am the only one that thinks the name is lame. Listening to forty year olds in the line-up state that they rode ninja cougar makes me think they should stay away from Buffalo Bills. Not many woman in there have such nice curves - brake bumps maybe. However, most of the forty plus women in Whistler are in better shape than the twenty year olds in the city.

Everyone hates a rant - but I am sure some of the staff who should be riding will defend the name. The trail… Well all I can say is I am impressed by the work of the trail crew. Well done another great asset to the park.
