hey all,
I was just wondering if anyone wants another lift open to biking up whistler. something like a pro line lift that you would need a special pass to go up on, maybe get an instructor to evaluate you in garbonzo to get a pass but it wouldnt cost anything besides the lift ticket.
(I know i stole this idea off of another thread).
I personally would like some huck and big gap trails.
Your thoughts.
Don't forget for a second that WBP is all about profit. Running a "pro line" chair would do nothing for their bottom line. They aren't running Garbo at anywhere near its capacity and the fact that they rarely allow 3 people to load 1 chair (they only have 1 guy unloading at the top) speaks volumes. There just aren't enough people who would ride that terrain to warrant its existence.
Now, if the "pros" wanting to ride this kind of terrain would be willing to pony up the extra dough for it, I know WBP would jump on the idea. Would you be first in line for the pro ticket? I suspect if it cost extra, the line might be shorter than you think.
