It has a mix. Some nice technical stuff. A few steep sections, and a few wide open fall line sections that can be pretty fast.

Nothing really difficult for a rider who can tackle steep technical riding. The difficulty comes in how fast you can ride it and how well you can carry your speed.

Any competent and skilled rider can ride it. But really good riders can ride it twice as fast.

Its just another trail, nothing to worry too much about. :)

If you mean the course the National DH is on, last time it was in Whistler it was:
Upper Joyride - National - The Autobahn (only open for racing) - Monkey Hands - Big GLC Drop

freakin squamish hicks that can't even get pogey right. go back to your meth pipe

wasn't national course renamed detroit rock city?

great trail.

Dislocated my pinky on it two years ago… tried to roll off the first ladder to the right in the steep chundery section that I soon learned could't be rolled….

Looking to ride the shore but don't know where to go?

I crashed at the same section a couple of times, scratching the stantions on my monsters. Its one of my favorite trails. Schleyer, National, to Clown Shoes makes an awsome run.

Where's "the autobahn"?

germany

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

that trail is fun, but be warned look out for Bryn Aktinson beucase he rides that faster than a fighter jet and rides it frequent! he rips that trial. Give him the gold on that before he even races it!
