you can always make more money but you can never make more time.
I think it's called work for a reason. Or else they probably would have called it fun-time at the fun factory.
Anyone know if you can ride on highway 99, or is it closed to all traffic but the participants? Was thinking of riding out to some different spots to watch.
The web site isn't too clear if it's closed to vehicle traffic or all traffic.

Email the race organization directly and see what they know is probably the best plan.
there is the spectator guide from the website….

Unless I missed it, the spectator guide doesn't answer my question. Thinking the best approach is to try it out and see what happens.
It states that the highway is closed to all traffic. Best to watch from somewhere in town as the sites south and north are not accessible.

pretty funny 'mil . . . which one were you ?
Pure comedy in Whistler right now.
Perhaps Tri is a uniting force for roadies and mountain bikers - neither can take the outfits seriously.
Today the roads are literally caked in aero-helmets and g-string chamois' with bikes wandering all over the side of the road - no one seems able to ride a straight line.
Good times, good times….
Any point in heading up tomorrow?

For what? No idea about the bike park, but I'm sensing that Tri-athletes are not bike park afficionados, so it will be a standard weekend day at the Park. We had no issues driving from Creekside to Pemberton and back again today and certainly saw no tri-bikes or aero helmets on Mackenzie Cruz, Overnight Sensation, or Psychopath. :orly:
The race is Sunday, so that's gong show day.
