Last year it was early August before it opened. I haven't been skiing in that area at all this year but I believe snowpack was above average so it will depend how hot the spring is. I can't see it being before mid July at the earliest.

August would be safe bet, of course it all depends on what the weather does in the next couple months....snowpack is still ~3m +/- at 1800m, which is what sproatt alpine is, it was less at this time last year.

later will be better for pretty much any high elevation trails this year as on average the provincial snow pack is about 170% of normal.
