Saw this on the WBP site:

June 25 , July 23 and Sept 6 (Saturday)

Any one know anything about this?

what would you like to know? its an experiment, and a damn good idea.
they're running on 3 wednesday's this season in place of the usual phat wednesday race.
there are a ton of lil' shredders that ride the park and want to race.

Just looking for some more info!

My son did a race down b-line last year with DFX (initialy he was aprehensive, then proud for finishing middle of the pack in his age/skill group)

Sounds like a great idea!

Will there be info posted closer to the dates? I helped out with race marshaling for his race during DFX, is there a need for volounters for this series?

Like Phat Wednesdays, course will be posted closer to the day of. Maybe a bit more notice for the lil ones. Age brackets (I THINK…) 7-8 8-10 11-13 13+

Courses pretty mellow.

Awards done in the plaza kind of by the entrance to the maze if memory serves.

All around rad idea for lil dudes and dudettes I think!

Hi - whats the diff between 13+ and 17 and under? I assume 17 and under is the grown-ups course, and 13+ is more mellow?

Same thing. He did the one lesson in the valley then one in the park program last year. I hope he enjoys it.

So have any of you done either of the first two events? How did it go?

How many boys in each age category?

My boy is 9 and would be in the 9, 10 category.

What about girls? They said no gender split, so are many girls out there doing this?

Any info appreciated.

If you are planning on riding Whistler or Squamish this Saturday, be prepared to wait a while. There will be long delays and road closures due to the RBC Whistler Gran Fondo.

My guy did the first one and the kidsworx bline race. He had a good time. Recommended.

I think there were 30 kids at the first one. Some ringers in a few of the age catagories (Shandro's, Finestone's kid etc…) but still a great chance for the kids to ride. Great pricing too!
