Having to replace $80 tubeless tyres every other ride 'cos you keep splitting sidewalls [HTML_REMOVED][HTML_REMOVED] all

you do realize that you can toss a tube in a tubeless tire if you happen to put a large enough hole in the tire that the sealant can't seal…right? I think you have been running Michelin tires if you are cutting that many ust tires apart.

sheffy…GG on a HT…there is something about making your way down the track and having someone roll right up behind you on their rocketship-bike…"hey can you go faster or move?"… "faster? let's trade bikes and see what's up."

dear DW,
since you got like a million bucks now, can i borrow $2850 for a Revolt frame?

thanks,
steve

You say that because you're very young. Wait till you're 40+, the damage you're
doing now WILL catch up to you. You won't believe me now, just like I didn't when
people told me the same thing when I was 20 something. Now, bad back, bad
knees, bad shoulders, bad feet. I did stretch a lot too. You put me on a HT and
one trip down DM or AL would put me on my back for a week, a Garbo run would
put me in the clinic.

Yeah, sure, but it's somewhat depressing when you have this supposedly superior system, get a new set of tyres, and within days you're having to resort back to the old tube method for the remainder of the tyre's life. Plus I can never get a tyre to sit straight on an 823 if there's a tube in there. However, yes, this was mostly with Michelin tyres, and Hutchinsons briefly (that were even worse). I now have some non UST Maxxis on there and actually, so far so good. Here's hoping I can finally start liking tubeless…
