Well? Will it be worth my $50 if I just want to go up and whore a-line on sunday like the good old days? Or will the lineups be through the roof and the hill filled with gorbs? I really couldn[HTML_REMOVED]#8217;t care less about the crankworx events I just happen to be passing through whistler on sat/sun and wanted to ride the park.

I've ridden it the last 2 crankworx's and will in a week and it is alot busier but its not that bad. The mountain is so big that everyone is pretty spread out for the most part. I have found Garbo to be pretty quiet, the busy runs are CIU, Dirt Merchant and Aline but like I said its not that bad.

Garbo DH is on Sunday. Shouldn't affect A-line or Dirt Merchant.

Start riding at 10:00, go do what you have to do when it gets busy, come back after lunch when it gets quieter and finish off your day.

Do a few Freight train -[HTML_REMOVED] DM -[HTML_REMOVED] Aline runs and your body will be weeping.

i don't know what line you were waiting in last year, but even mid week at crankworx the singles line takes longer than the main line at say the fitz and year 10 plus minutes maybe 20, the lines midday are always out of the maze.. why not go to sun peaks or silverstar.
its not like john cowan wasnt in the boneyard today changing everything up cause the riders didnt like the setup or should we call it tweaking(sorry had to rant)

here to ride but i'm to busy building

why not go to sun peaks or silverstar.

Maybe because:

I just happen to be passing through whistler on sat/sun and wanted to ride the park.

well I gave'r today, and the park was DEAD. Didn't wait more than 2 mins for a chair. it was busy down at the bottom with people standing around getting in the way trying to actually get to the chair lineup, but the trails were dead. It also rained a bit up at the top of the mountain so garbo should be tacky for the next while, no rain at the bottom though just dust.
