they own the land directly under the lifts , and have a land use contract for everything else . as such , they have to exercise due diligence over activities that occur on those lands .
translation : if you are doing dumbass shit ( aside from what a normal , rational thinking person might do :lol: ) that could do damage to yourself , other persons , mountain staff , or mountain property that will be looked upon unfavorably and you will either be asked kindly to leave , or you will be escorted / followed to the bottom of the mountain where the RCMP will handle the matter .
lesson : don't do dumbass shit , and there won't be any problems .
with respect to the bike park trails , i can't say whether they are open or closed , but riders should keep in mind that they are not maintained at this point , so that great table / gap / drop that you nailed back in august may not be in the same shape now . trees fall down , rocks roll onto trails , watercourses develop . . . .
