Here is the story:/
So after getting in 25 days at whistler this season during my days off and going some what injury free…… I decide to take my AM bike for a ride in Victoria. Things were going great, all the riding in wbp has made me much faster on my home trails.
I take the same route I always take and hit a small step down down but with more speed, I landed with my front wheel into a buried rock with a exposed size of a softball. Bike completely compresses and stops. Both my arms near the wrist broke like in a car accident and I flew otb and landed on my back. I now have two fiberglass splints until Tuesday then two casts for 4-6 weeks and a huge bruise and lump on my lower spine:/
Oh well I will be back to whistler next summer.
Trail was the joiner trail from south ridge tu fun trail, the second jump in the right side trail before the small log drop:/
