Do any of you drink any of the Energy Drinks available out there such as Monster, red Bull, Max1?
Do you rely on these for your workouts/rides etc?
I have found one called Max1 that is really helping me with my workout routine and especially on ride days. Just wanted to hear thoughts on this from other riders/athletes. I have attched a chart with some specs…
Energy Drinks
Despite this being a spampost (and in the wrong forum), I thought I would take this opportunity to note that due to health concerns, I've switched from drinking most of these energy drinks which contain taurine. My new energy drink of choice is Hype Organic, which contains many of the same ingredients as those in the chart above, except it is the only one I have found without any taurine in it.
I drink Chocolate milk.
water, sometimes gatorade, and beer… oh, scotch is good too

Ah, in the old days we had Brad's Drink, rich in the protein digesting enzyme pepsin, and caffeine to pep you up… think they call it Pepsi now a days.
I drink Chocolate milk.
… or drink it straight up. ;)
Now with more Rolo too…
Strong dark roast coffee. No cream no sugar. I am partial to Black Mountain from Bean Around the World.
Then water during the day and during rides. From the tap, not of that bottled crap.
Finish the day with beer. In the summer a good west coast hoppy IPA hits the spot, or a good Hefeweizen.
water, lucky lager
beaver juice
We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

On a long summer ride, I need some kind of electrolyte replacement else I get evil headaches.

i remember you warning about headaches and recommending some form of electrolyte replacement for the last day of the 4queens. i'd never bothered before, just stuck with water. i filled my camel back with gatorade for the nimby climb. it was okay, got warm quick and i didn't do a great job mixing it, so it was weak. empty by the top - and there was nothing left in the cooler except ice. so i filled the bladder with ice, and the ride down gravitrout mixed the ice cold melt and remaining gatorade sludge but good - so refreshing all the way down trout and stimulus!
