I predict something bad happening there.

ben, we should do that when we train dm this weekend, it sounds like a good idea, we just gotta make sure not to hit in the air

It's more like 10' to 15' back from the creek. The gap is now an honest 20' to 25'. Please scope it out before you hit it, so that we don't have another "Manager" where a few people wrecked within a first few days of it being open, forcing the patrol to close it to re-assess the situation. The stunt will be there for a long time….

Good advice Tom. Thanks to you and your group for the hard work….the park was in great shape over the weekend. I'm sure the rain is a blessing right now as things were already getting really dry.

Now, let's just pray the gondola gets going sooner than later.

Cheers,
EB

Like I've said here before - we listen. Thanks Cooper.

Can you add some sharks to the creek to make it even more challenging?

Wouldn't "jumping the shark" be a bad thing? http://www.jumptheshark.com/index.jspa

The original/standard creek gap jump is definitely on the short side - I always have to give it maximum suck-up to catch any of the transition. I'm just curious… is this new line the more "natural" length for the speed you're going if you've ridden DM at "clearing everything" speed or is it more like "pin it like you're being chased by Steve Peat" speed?

I'll scope it for sure anyway… just wondering.

Yeah, I was wondering that too. You can get going pretty fast out of that section before the creek.
