July 28. Saw a full suspension trike. It was weird. Last time I saw it was being carted down by the medics… :| Why would someone ride a trike? They look so unstable. My only thought would be due to physical limitations.

Funny that you mention this…back in June there was a guy on a DH trike (Norco) and the guy was rounding a corner on Heart of Darkness and the trike tipped over and the guy fell over off of the side of the trail…. he would have falled all the way down an embankment that led into that fast flowing river if it wasn't for one of those SRAM nets on the side of the trail saved him - myself and a bunch of over riders were able to hoist him out of there safely. He was strapped into the pedals too (old school toe straps) so he would have had no chance had he fallen into the river. Scary situation but everything turned out fine.

Brown frame??? They outlawed those motorized trikes for a reason. Or we could have jeremy clarkson show us why…

Brown frame???

I think it was like a Greyish frame…Pinkbike actually posted a picture of it the same day the incident happened, but I can't seem to find it now.

Seens lots of quads. First time I've seen a trike though. It may have been a norco frame. I only saw it from the lift.

That reliant that clarkson drove must have been weighted deliberately. Ive been in one and it was a lot more stable than that. 2 wheels on the front end for the dh trikes looks quite stable too.

It's an older Norco VPS frame converted to a trike. The difference between that and a quad-bike is how high the rider is. With the quads the rider is IN the bike, like a high performance car. That trike was ridiculous as it put riders just as high as any other bike, but took away their ability to lean.

I saw it up the hill a few times last month, not at all surprising that it didn't work out. The rider didn't seem to have any disabilities at first glance, though I know that doesn't mean much.
