Demo Center Question

Question for the board.

After moving from the PNW to TX. (Yea, don't ask.) I've been making yearly trips to Whistler to get my fix. However, this year, my ride is due for replacement, and wont be making the trip with me.

My question is this. Obviously, a full on DH ride isn't very useful in TX. My next option would be to rent a bike from the Demo center. Thinking a Shocker, always wanted to ride one.

For those with experience, what is the quality of the bikes? I would be up there for 4-5 days and want to have a reliable bike, and not have to worry about anything. Is it first come first serve? I would hate to get down to the demo center on day 3 only to find that they don't have anything that fits me…. I'm 6'3" so would def. need a large.

The bikes are the top-level offerings from each company and like most rental fleets are maintained very well. Best thing to do regarding availability and size is contact the demo centre and ask / reserve.

Cool, kinda figured that was the case. I'll look into long term reservations. See whats available etc.

Don't feel limited to the demo centre, Fanatykco, Summit, and yes Bike Co. all rent DH bikes in Whistler.

^ Fanatyko posted a thread with pics of some of their rental bikes and they were all top end bikes. I would certainly give them a call.
