It was raining hard today and most of the trails had running water on them. Some of the tech stuff in Garbo was muddy and super greasy.

The sun is supposed to come out so it should be nice tommorow.

The usual suspects were pretty muddy today. Garbanzo was soooo much fun in the greasy glop. Upper Angry Pirate was open again and I believe one of the berms in the open was reworked. Didn't rain much late in the afternoon.

Ho Chi, Crack Addict, Devil's Club, and Upper Angry are closed for VANOC related improvements, timelines for reopening unknown at this point

Egads…all you have to do is close whistler dh and all my favorite trails will be closed. haha

It's sunning now, but yesterday at about 3, it was pouring! There were rivers running down all the trails I rode, and on DM it was running pretty quickly!

I'd expect today there will be some water-related trenches in the trails, and some sketchy kickers, as they've had puddles hanging about for a long time.

Yep - it was pretty darn near perfect today. No more dust for now. A few greasy rocks up in Garbo but everything ws rideable.

Hey mods, why don't we sticky this shizzle!

last night….welcome to mid-summer….dust, loose rock, and the seemingly ever-present braking bumps are growing into the large wheel swallowing monsters that they tend to become…..good times to be had by all!

I was just there yesterday and my bike was just messed up.
my hole rim twisted over. And to get it fixed is going to cost me 160 bucks, so i dont no, plus it was pretty raining..And boneyard is still closed. And my holidays are all most over.

I'm pretty sure the Boneyard is open, it's just that the only way in is via the step down off the Octopus.

Things have cooled off a bit finaly. Still dusty and loose but at least less chance of heat-stroke. Lots of crankworx action for keeping the chair rides entertaining.
