So what are the advantages/disadvantages of living in Creekside over the summer? Seems like a pretty laid back area, but what's the access for bikes, both to and from the lifts? Is it anywhere near the famous non-lift accesses trails?
Creekside and biking
10 minute drive, 20ish minute bike ride. you might have some lazy days that you dont want to ride there and in the end you will be sitting at home, just buck up and stay in the village.

Non-lift trails are all through the valley and the valley trail services them nicely. Once you discover them, you won't miss the bike park.

what REALLY sucks though is that many of those non existent trails don't end within a few meters of the lakes. which yeah don't exist either

There are only 3 trails on the Creekside.
- Logging road to Cheakamus Lake .. watch for cars
-the logging road to the Microwave tower.. wave hi to Patrolskid though I think he would really appreciate it if you dropped of 4 Liters of milk on your way by.

I live in bayshores and love it….close to lakes, can ride out via la bikepark home….it isn't that far to ride the dh bike in to the village, throw the helmet on the bars and cruise the valley trail in 15ish minutes, or just pound it out on the highway a bit faster…I've ridden function to the village on phat wed nights when the bus already had bikes on the rack in function in 20-25 minutes on a dh rig, people just need to stop being such whiny pussies…..lots of trails in the vicinity, quick access to west side trails too for pedally options….and dusty's post rds is always nice since you're close to home.

damn, wish I had checked out the whistler map when I was there. didnt realise there were some trails within 10mins ride of our place in creekside.
